2 flavor Fudge

Ingredients:

2c firmly packed brown sugar
1c granulated sugar
1c evaporated milk
1/2c butter

Combine these in a saucepan. bring to full boil over moderate heat, stirring frequently. Boil for 15 min, over moderate heat. remove from heat. Add 1 jar marshmallow cream, one 6oz pkg each Butterscotch chips and semi-sweet chips. Stir till melted and mixture is smooth. Blend in 1c chopped walnuts and 1tsp vanilla. Pour in greased 9" pan. Chill till firm. Makes 2 1/2 lbs.

Apple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This is from Doris Olson (Grandma).

Ingredients:
2 eggs
2c sugar
2c flour
dash salt
1/2c oil
2tsp cinnamon
1tsp vanilla
2tsp baking soda
4c diced apples
1c sour cream

Cream eggs, sugar and vanilla; add oil and blend. Add dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream. stir in the diced apples. pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan for 45-55 minutes. Or a tube pan for 60 minutes. It is done when a tooth pick comes out clean.

Cream Cheese Icing
Ingredients:
1 1/2c powdered sugar
6oz cream cheese, softened
1/2tsp vanilla
3TBSP softened butter

Beat together and spread on cooled cake.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake

This is a recipe from a lady, Nora Ellen, at St Mary's Church in Oxford, Ohio.

Ingredients:

1 stick margarine
1c sugar
1c sour cream
2 eggs
1tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder
2c flour
1/2tsp vanilla
Chopped nuts
Cinnamon

Grease and angel food cake pan. Mix all ingredients. Put 1/2 of batter into pan. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, sugar and cinnamon. Repeat with other half. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.

No Fail Pie Crust

Mix: 4c flour, 1TBSP sugar, 1tsp salt

Add: 1 3/4c crisco, mix till crumbly

Beat together: 1/2c water, 1TBSP vinegar, 1 large egg

Combine liquid and flour mixture with fork.

Divide dough into 3 or 4 parts.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 1/2 hour or up to 3 days. Dough may be frozen.

When ready to use, roll out onto floured surface. Handles very easily.

Pumpkin Roll

Ingredients:

3 eggs beaten
2/3 can pumpkin
1tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1c sugar
3/4c flour
1tsp salt
nuts

Mix all ingredients well. Grease cookie sheet or roll pan. Line with wax paper. Spread dough on paper. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 375 for 15 min. Please upside down on kitchen towel that is sprinkled with confectionary sugar. Remove pan and paper. Roll up on towel to cool.

Filling Ingredients:
1- 8oz cream cheese, softened
2tsp margarine, softened
1tsp vanilla
1c confectionary sugar

Mix with beater until smooth. Unroll cake and spread filling to edge. Roll up again. Wrap in plastic or foil. Refrigerate. Slice to serve.

Rye Bread Dip

Ingredients:
Mild Rye Bread
1 1/3c sour cream
1 1/3c mayonnaise
2tsp dill
2tsp seasoned salt
2tsp onion flakes
2tsp parsley flakes
Dried Beef

Mix all together. Put in hallowed out rye bread. Use bread to dip.

Lemon Lust

This is written by layers.

1st layer - 1c flour, 1c chopped nuts, 1 stick butter
Mix together, pat in an oblong pan. Bake at 350 for 15 min.

2nd layer - 1c cool whip, 1c confectionary sugar, 1- 8oz cream cheese
Mix to cream, spread over cooled crust.

3rd layer - 2pkg Lemon Instant Pudding, 3c milk
Mix and let stand for 5 min. Spread over 2nd layer

Top with cool whip. Keep refrigerated.

Cherry Fruit Squares

This is a recipe that my mom used to make. It is very simple and Yummy.

Ingredients:
1c Margarine
1c sugar
1tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2c flour
1/2c chopped nuts
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream soft margarine with sugar, add vanilla. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour. Add nuts. Spread 3/4 of the dough in a 9x13 pan. Cover with pie filling. Drop tsps of remaining dough on top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

I had a post on one of my yahoo groups that this lady kept a blog to keep track of her recipes that she uses. What a great idea. SO, I decided to do the same. I figure, I love being on the computer, where else would i want to keep them! So here we go.
