This is one of my favorite recipes from Amish Friends Cookbook. So easy and quick.
Ingredients:
2c flour
1/2tsp salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 to 2 quarts chicken or beef broth
1 can corn, crushed
Combine flour, salt and beaten egg and mix with fingers until mixture is crumbly. Heat broth , add corn and bring back to a simmer. Drop rivels slowly into broth. Cook for about 10 min. Rivels will look like boiled rice when cooked. Note: Chopped carrots, celery and onion may be added if desired.
